i <3 Dwayne Wayne!!

There is no TV character that I loved more than DWAYNE WAYNE, played by Kadeem Hardison on the television show "A Different World" (my fave show by the way! =]) which aired in the late 80s and early 90s. Yes, I was like 5 years old when the show was popular but I thoroughly enjoyed watching all the seasons on Oxygen, Nick at Night and Noggin! Dwayne had it all, he was hella smart, perfect score on his math SAT's, he was a nerd and yet all the girls liked him and he got the one girl he wanted all along. He went from annoying nerd to class act realll quick. He had the womanizer best friend to get him into trouble all the time, and them cute lil flip up glasses and that NY twang...just couldnt help myself! If I was 15 years older I woulda wanted to give Whitley a run for her moooolahhhhh!




A Different World was orignally a spin off from the Cosby Show for Denise who was supposed to be in college, but her role only lasted on season. The show was better without her. I mean the Dwayne and Whitley dynamic was bananas! When I was in high school, I wished my college life would be just like A Different World....hahahaha oh well, a girl can dream!Anyways like I said, I love Dwayne Wayne. But Kadeem Hardison now...not so hott

When I first heard of Teyana Taylor on MTV's My Super Sweet 16, i just thought she was some rich black girl who somehow got in with the in-crowd and had hella style. But it wasnt till like Google Me Baby came out that i found out shes an artist, like a music artist. Idk if her skills are all that but she takes bad ass pictures!

This song came out on Fri...and i havent stopped hearing about it ever since. On first listen, i didnt really think too much of it, but it usually takes awhile for things to grow on meh. Heres the song..decide for yourselves. The song is called Run This Town by Rihanna, Jay-z,and Kanye...supposed to be a new track of Jay-Z's new album droppin Sept. 11th.

So I was definitely unaware that they play degrassi on MTV now. Guess now that Drake has finally gone mainstream, they wanna play his old ish on MTV. interessante...speaking as a die hard degrassi fan, I always loved Jimmy as the only black guy on Degrassi...never woulda guessed lil wheelchair Jimmy would turn into all star Drizzzzzyyy.

I will admit, I didnt really like the song at first cuz it reminded me me of the actual poker face song that I now find quite annoying. However, the song has grown on me. And it doesnt hurt that Kid Cuddi is kinda cute, in his own rugged way. =]

I basically wanna be her. I first discovered her when my best friend informed me that she was dating Pharrell. This was like in '05 or '06. Ever since then, ive been hooked. She has incredible style, simple yet dazzling, she luvs Nike kiks, and she luvs good music. Shes like one of those people who makes everyone else look good, the behind the scenes type girl. She used to work for Def Jam records working on the company's image. But she quit that job, they couldnt handle her! Now shes a party promoter, fashion designer, and video producer.
