This winter break I had a wholllle lot of free time on my hands with absolutely nothing to do...at all. So I spent most of my idle time, thinking....... analyzing, (more than the usual huge amount of time I spend doing that haha), and o yes listening to music. Music makes the world go round. =]

I found out that I'm really into adele's music. Well at least the CD 19. Its crazy because the Cd like exactly describes my life...like so exact it's kinda scary.

Apart from Adele, I dabbled in a some Nigerian music as well, which I love. <3


Anyways music is gets me through the day and sometimes through the night. Its essential to my being and existence and i love it. ♥

Nigerians are NOT terrorists

When I came back home from Nigeria,my country of origin, I was met with jokes about how my brother was a terrorist...etc etc. But, despite the fact that the most recent terrorist attack was committed by a Nigerian, not all Nigerians are terrorists. I repeat Nigerians are NOT terrorists. In my opinion, this was a case of one lonely boy led astray and convinced brainwashed by others to end his life. If that boy ever steps foot in Nigeria, the citizens of Nigeria will kill him. point blank period.

So keep the jokes to a minimum. Please and thank you =]

Although Nigeria is a place where you can see poverty on a daily basis, the spirt of the country is one unlike any other I have ever experienced and I truly did enjoy my overall stay there. And despite what you all may thing, Nigeria is not a place to go on a safari, I did not see lions, tigers or bears (oh my! ;)) nor does everyone live in huts. Nigeria is a country full of beautiful, intelligent people and we ARE moving up in the world. Here are a few flicks from my trip. Enjoy! =]

GRRRRR i woke up at 4am this morning...again...im so jet lagged =/

hopefully my schedule goes back to normal soon. until then..ill be getting work done from approx 4am to 9am every mornin and falling asleep by 9 ....me going to bed early and waking up early...thats almost unheard of! =O

Its a new year, and many like to think its time for a "new you". People make a whole bunch of New Year's resolutions that describe the kind of changes they will make for themselves during the new year. People want to loose weight, be more assertive, go on a diet, etc etc. Some people feel like just because the date changed from dec 31 2009 to jan 1 2010, things are going to change. But, quite literally, only one day has passed. Now don't get me wrong, the beginning of a new year is an exciting time. Its a time of celebration, you just made it through another year of life! But maybe the 2009 you wasnt so bad. Instead of trying to make personality changes and turning your image upside down, you should build on the person that you already are. Bottom line is, if you really want to make a change in your life, you shouldn't have to wait until the new year to do so.

But hey, I'm no pessimistic. Im usually a glass half full person. =] So, its OK to use the beginning of a new year to realize that maybe if you changed a few things in life, you could be a happier and better person. I just wanna be sexy, be smart, and love life in 2010!

I hope this year is bigger and better than the last.

I can finally breathe! Happy New Year! again

Yesterday I was soo exhausted after spending almost 24 hours in transit from Abuja, Nigeria to San Francisco. Did I mention I was hungry starving as well! lol But, I'm back now and I feels great to be home. I suppose I missed out on about a month of life in the States, the xmass craziness, and the NYE celebrations but I figure the time I spent in Nigeria was worth it. It's nice to know where you come from and have the immediate feeling of belonging right when you step into the country. Despite that foolish boy that disgraced our country by trying to bomb a plane, I really and truly do love being NIGERIAN! <3
